TalkCue · Privacy Policy

Your words and recordings remain yours.

This policy explains how TalkCue handles scripts, recordings, speech, transcripts, captions, purchases, and support communications.

Effective July 29, 2026 Moriah Point LLC

Summary

  • TalkCue does not require you to create an account.
  • Your scripts, app-managed videos, transcripts, captions, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
  • TalkCue does not sell your personal information.
  • TalkCue does not contain third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics.
  • Apple system services process speech recognition, translation, and purchases when you use those features.
  • You control when content is recorded, imported, saved to Photos, exported, shared, or deleted.

Important: TalkCue can contain sensitive scripts, speech, recordings, and transcripts. Review the destination before sharing or exporting content outside the app.

Content Stored on Your Device

TalkCue may store the following information locally within the app’s storage on your iPhone or iPad:

  • Scripts, titles, cue phrases, language selections, and presentation preferences
  • Videos recorded and saved in TalkCue
  • Original and edited transcripts
  • Caption timing, original caption tracks, and saved translated caption tracks
  • Thumbnails, favorites, recording metadata, and export preferences
  • Purchase-entitlement status needed to provide available features

Moriah Point LLC does not operate a cloud account or synchronization service for this TalkCue content. Depending on your Apple device and backup settings, locally stored app data may be included in device backups managed by Apple.

Device Permissions

TalkCue requests access only when a feature needs it:

  • Camera: to show a preview and record video when you choose to record.
  • Microphone: to record audio and provide speech-driven features such as Voice Follow, Cue Jump, and transcription.
  • Speech Recognition: to recognize spoken words for prompting, transcripts, caption timing, and related features.
  • Photos — add only: to save a copy of a completed recording when you choose to do so or enable the app’s automatic Photos-copy preference.
  • Files: through Apple’s document picker when you choose to import or export a supported file.

You can deny or later revoke Camera, Microphone, Speech Recognition, or Photos access in the Settings app. Features that require a denied permission will be unavailable or limited.

Speech Recognition and Audio Processing

TalkCue uses Apple’s Speech framework to recognize speech for Voice Follow, Cue Jump, recording transcripts, and caption timing. Audio samples and recorded-media audio may be provided to Apple’s speech-recognition service when you use these features.

Whether recognition occurs on the device or uses Apple’s servers can depend on the device, operating system, language, availability, and Apple’s service behavior. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s privacy terms and device settings.

TalkCue does not send your audio, scripts, transcripts, or videos to a Moriah Point server for speech recognition, and Moriah Point does not use your content to train an artificial-intelligence model.

Translation

TalkCue uses Apple’s Translation framework when you ask to translate a script, transcript, or caption track. Translation availability depends on the device, operating system, selected languages, and installed Apple language resources.

Moriah Point does not operate a separate translation server and does not use translated content to train a model.

Purchases and Subscriptions

TalkCue uses Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store for purchases, subscriptions, introductory offers, entitlement verification, restoration, and subscription management.

Apple processes your payment information. Moriah Point does not receive or store your full payment-card details. TalkCue receives the product and transaction information needed to determine whether TalkCue Pro features are available.

Sharing, Photos, Import, and Export

TalkCue sends content outside its local storage only when you initiate or configure an action, including:

  • Saving a video copy to Photos
  • Sharing a video, transcript, caption file, or other export through Apple’s share sheet
  • Importing a document through Apple’s file picker
  • Exporting SRT, transcript, or captioned-video files

After you share or export content, the receiving app, service, person, or storage provider controls its handling. Copies saved to Photos or another destination are separate from TalkCue’s app-managed copy.

Support Communications

If you contact Moriah Point for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, app version, build number, operating-system version, device type, screenshots, and attachments.

Do not send private scripts, transcripts, audio, or videos unless they are necessary for your request and you intentionally choose to share them.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

TalkCue does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, behavioral advertising profiles, or third-party analytics SDKs. Moriah Point does not sell or rent TalkCue user information.

Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store, sales, crash, and performance information through Apple’s developer services. Apple controls that information under its own privacy policies.

Retention and Deletion

Scripts, TalkCue-managed videos, transcripts, captions, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, delete the associated content, or remove the app. Copies you exported or saved to Photos must be deleted from their destination separately.

Because TalkCue does not provide a Moriah Point cloud account, Moriah Point generally does not have a server copy of your in-app content to access or delete.

Support communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain support history, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, or protect rights and security. You may request deletion of support information by emailing support@moriahpoint.io, subject to information we must retain for legal or security reasons.

Children’s Privacy

TalkCue is a general-audience productivity and recording application and is not directed to children under 13. Moriah Point does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a TalkCue account or Moriah Point cloud service because TalkCue provides neither. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Security

TalkCue relies on Apple platform protections, app-container isolation, permission controls, and the security of your device to protect locally stored content. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode and keep its operating system current.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when TalkCue’s features, data practices, legal obligations, or service providers change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and, when appropriate, in the app or App Store information.
